Xota is the product arm of Clean Bees Cleaning Ltd — the team that runs the commercial cleaning and facilities operation. Which means we eat our own cooking: every feature has to survive contact with real schedulers, real operatives and real clients before it ships.
We’re small on purpose. No layers, no committees, no long decks — just the people building the thing, close to the customers using it.

We stay small and hire slowly. Every hire changes the team’s chemistry — we treat that seriously.
We ship narrow slices weekly, watch them used in production, and iterate. Taste over tickets.
Everyone in the team talks to customers. Support, scheduling, finance, product — it’s one job.
Vite, React, Postgres, Supabase, nginx, pm2. We pick boring, well-understood tools so the product can be the interesting thing.
Nothing flashy — just the conditions good work needs.
Team base is Bristol. Most roles are hybrid: we meet in person a couple of days a week and work from home the rest.
Plus the days between Christmas and New Year off by default — we close.
Core overlap around 10–15:00. Start early, finish early, do the school run — whatever fits the life you’re actually living.
Choose your own laptop within a sensible budget. We’ll sort out a sit/stand desk, decent monitor, and a half-decent chair.
Conferences, books, courses. If it makes you better at the job or unblocks a curiosity, we’ll back it.
Equity options for meaningful contributions. We want you to care about the outcome — and to share in it.
We hire slowly and usually only once a quarter. If your profile is a strong fit, we’d still love to talk — you’ll go to the top of the list when the next role opens.
