The client portal covers two things. Clients you give a login to sign into a restricted-navigation account showing only their own projects, signed-off shifts and invoices. Clients you don't give a login to can still open a public Project, Invoice or Quote link with no sign-in at all.
A client-role login shows a restricted navigation with only their own Dashboard, Properties, Shifts and Finance tabs. There is no Clients list and no Schedule, so a client never sees your other customers or bookings that belong to someone else.
A shareable link is a public URL for one Project, Invoice or Quote that opens with no login and no password. Anyone holding the link can view proof of clean, invoice line items or a quote to accept, straight from the link you send.
Portal access is set per contact. Flip the App Access switch on any client contact to give them a client-role login, or send a public Project, Invoice or Quote link to anyone who doesn't need an account at all.
No. A public Project link shows the same proof of clean as the client portal, including photos uploaded on site and shift notes, without the client creating an account or remembering a password.
